ABOUT...DANDELIONS
We have been open since August 2015 and we offer nursery care to young children from 3 months to five years, along with before and after school care for children at local schools. Our indoor space is light, bright and calm. It is designed to ensure that all children feel comfortable there and are able to learn. We offer children play based learning and sensory activities with our team of supportive, caring adults.
All the children use our extensive outdoor area. There is lots of space to run around and be boisterous, as well as areas for quiet thinking and learning. Each room has their own dedicated garden and play area. We also have a woodland area, which is great for exploring. We have several raised beds and planting areas, the children enjoy planting fruit and vegetables rom seed and seeing them grow.

CARE OUTSIDE OF WORKING HOURS
We provide "wraparound care" for Farndon Primary school, children can attend before and after school. We offer breakfast and a place to feel at home before the children go to Farndon school. We believe it is important that these children can come in after school and relax, chill and play after a busy day of learning at school. Children can play indoors or outside and enjoy a range of activities. We listen to children read if you would like us to. We offer nutritious meals and snacks, including tea for school children. We are open until 6.00pm in the evening to give you chance to get home from work. If you need longer hours we are happy to discuss this with you.
We have a holiday club that runs during the holidays for English and Welsh schools. At holiday club we offer a variety of activities, crafts, cooking, drama and games. We go on local low cost trips as well as local walks & visits to the park.

DINING AT DANDELIONS
We prepare wholesome meals and snacks in our kitchen. If your child has any specific dietary requirements let us know. We currently cater for a range of dietary needs. We have developed menus, which are nutritious and varied. but are suitable for all dietary needs We have a 5* rating for food hygiene.
We are currently running a 3 week menu with a variety of meals on offer. For morning snack we offer toast and fruit. We order most of our food from Castell Howell they provide us with Braces Malted Bloomer which is suitable for most of our allergy children. All meat for our meals is supplied by Griffiths' butchers in Farndon and the remainder of our supplies come from Asda. -
COMMUNITY
We feel passionately about being a part of the local village community. Annually we take part in the Christmas tree festival and we hold our nativity in the Church. We visit Farndon friends of the elderly which is a great experience for our children as much as for those who attend.
